The upper ridge is dominated by chestnut oak, white oak, and hickory — recently opened by harvest, now developing early-successional browse and native understory including blueberry, wild rose, and teaberry. The lower slope transitions into a red maple stand dense enough to support a small-scale maple syrup operation. Two hemlock stands — one on the north end and one in the southern section — provide thermal bedding cover that concentrates deer on the property through winter. Vernal streams run through the land toward the adjacent Little Marsh Creek corridor, creating a wildlife travel funnel that draws deer, turkey, and other game onto the property to bed and feed.

Multiple log landings are distributed throughout the 190 acres — cleared, ATV-accessible openings that are natural food plot development sites requiring minimal investment. Existing tree stands are in place. A formal deer management program can be established through landowner tags or enrollment in Pennsylvania's Deer Management Assistance Program.
