Recurring expenses automate entry for costs that repeat on a predictable schedule.
Common use cases
- Monthly software subscriptions
- Rent and utilities
- Retainer fees paid to vendors
Set up a recurring expense
- Create or edit an expense.
- Under recurring options, choose Repeat every (week, month, year, or custom).
- For custom intervals, set the repeat value and unit (days, weeks, months, years).
- Optionally set Recurring ends on for a fixed stop date.
- Save the expense.
How recurring expenses work over time
Better Sales Pro generates expense entries according to your schedule. Each instance appears on the expense list and can be edited individually if an amount changes for a specific period.
Stop or change recurrence
Edit the parent expense to change the schedule or set an end date. Delete or disable recurrence to stop future entries. Past expenses already recorded remain in your history.
